The staff are friendly and super helpful. The shuttle service to the airport runs like clockwork, and there’s a handy Circle K and Supermac's just across the street.
Sadly, my room smelled like wet dog and was far too hot.

A rude encounter at the Italian restaurant was frustrating, especially given the lack of communication about reservations. The shuttle service needs improvement. Staff seemed uninformed, and critical assistance was missing for those in need. Exemplary hospitality is expected in Ireland, and this experience fell short. This hotel has potential but must refine operations and training to ensure consistency in service.

During my stay, I loved the easy access to amazing green spaces like Fr. Collins Park, which is just about 4 km away, and Albert College Park, about 3.7 km, perfect for a relaxing stroll or a picnic. The hotel is also super close to the airport, making it ideal for morning flights, and the shuttle service was fantastic, ensuring a smooth transit every time. I enjoyed delicious meals at the Italian restaurant on-site and the breakfast setup was well stocked with great options to start the day. The staff were very accommodating, especially Charlotte at the front desk who helped with everything I needed. But the room I got wasn’t exactly what I expected as it was an accessibility room instead of the standard one I booked.

The room was spacious and generally clean, with a lovely large bed that added to the comfort. both bathrooms had issues; the shower curtain didn’t fully cover the wall, leading to a puddle on the floor after use. It was quite warm, and the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable at times. I appreciated the connecting rooms for our family. The shower had good water pressure, but the lack of complimentary toiletries was noticeable. A small bottle of water would have been a nice touch, considering the room charges.

Had a short stay before an early flight. Room was comfy with a heavenly rain head shower. 24-hour shuttle service was a lifesaver. Italian Kitchen served a delicious dinner. Superb staff and value for money.
Service at the Playwright Bar was a disaster. Unprofessional staff on their phones, wrong orders delivered, and overall bad experience with bland food.

Breakfast delighted with an impressive selection, and the bar area was perfect for a relaxed dinner. the elevator situation was frustratingly inefficient, making access to our room a hassle. Staff were generally friendly, yet their response when my purse went missing felt a bit lackluster, lacking the empathy I hoped for. On the plus side, the reliable airport shuttle was a lifesaver. While there’s convenience in dining at the hotel, it would’ve been great if the prices were more reasonable.

Had a decently big, clean room with comfy bed & pillows for a good snooze. The Italian restaurant served delish food without needing reservations. Located near Dublin Airport, shuttle service helped quick transfers.

I always stay here with my family before or after travelling if it is an early or late flight, always very happy. the free shuttle service was easy to find from Terminal 1 and the staff was good about letting me know what time to be in the lobby. the mattress/bed was amazingly comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. I wish I had been there longer instead of a quick overnight en route to other destinations.

I chose Clayton solely to explore Holy Cross Church, and was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle bus to-and-from Dublin Airport. The 2-course evening meal at The Italian Kitchen was delightful, and the daily breakfast menu offered an excellent start to the day. The hotel's location offered easy access to the vibrant city.

Vast twinkling lights add fun, an ideal base to explore, magical gift cards, fitness suite to burn off afternoon tea, 24-hour coffee for caffeine addicts. Authentic wood-fired pizzas.
Enjoyed feeling unwelcome by texting n' tired staff.

During our recent stay at the Clayton hotel, we were impressed by the free airport shuttle service, which made getting to and from Dublin Airport a breeze. The room we stayed in was spacious and warm, providing a comfortable space to relax after a long day of traveling. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. there were a few areas that could be improved upon. The shower in our room lacked a door that could be fully closed, leading to water spilling onto the bathroom floor when using the adjustable shower head. the heavy duvet made it challenging to find the right temperature for a good night's sleep. The lack of counter space in the bathroom meant having to place our toiletries on the floor, which was inconvenient. The staff were helpful and accommodating, offering solutions to the problems we encountered.

As a young family, we had a wonderful time at this conveniently located hotel near the airport. The 24-hour shuttle bus service made our travel hassle-free, and the modern lobby gave a great first impression. The Italian Kitchen offered delicious and plentiful meals, perfect for satisfying hungry tummies after a long journey. The spacious and quiet room provided a comfortable night's sleep, and the accommodating staff made our stay even more enjoyable.
Disappointingly, we encountered some unprofessional behavior from a staff member in the bar.

hey friends - just had a fantastic stay at the clayton. everything was super clean and the location is great - with easy access to the city center via public transport. the shuttle service to the airport was a real standout – made our travels hassle-free. only downside was the airport shuttle being a bit tricky to find - but overall - definitely recommend.
